TARGET AUDIENCE: local health department, hospitals, long term care, home health and dialysis centers with an Illinois HELPS System Administrator
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Illinois HELPS Administrator live webinar training provides instruction and demonstration of the administrative roles when managing the Illinois HELPS system. The training is recommended for local/organizational administrators, MRC administrators, and hospital emergency preparedness or volunteer management staff.
The two-hour training session provides instruction and demonstration of how to receive volunteers.
Participants will need a computer and internet connection to view the webinar session. At the end of the instruction there will be a live question/answer period.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: By the end of this training webinar, participants will have a better understanding of how to:
- Navigate through the Illinois HELPS registration and administrative features
- Create an incident within the Illinois HELPS system
- Manage organizations and volunteers accounts
- Review how to put volunteers into appropriate jobs
- Create and manage volunteer deployments
