Health Security Journal: Feasibility Assessment of a Novel Isolation Care Tent in Uganda During the 2022 Sudan Ebolavirus Outbreak

A new article in the Health Security Journal describes a feasibility assessment led by Makerere University Infectious Disease Institute and the University of Nebraska Medical Center of a novel isolation care tent used in health facilities in Uganda during the 2022 Sudan ebolavirus outbreak. The case study describes the lessons learned from health facility assessments and workshop outcomes at seven health facilities across four districts in Uganda, and offers recommendations to support implementation of the single-occupancy, portable, negative-pressure isolation tent STARI 1B.
