During this meeting, NACIDD members will discuss, finalize, and vote on an initial set of recommendations to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary and the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) regarding challenges, opportunities, and priorities for national public health and medical preparedness, response, and recovery, specific to the needs of people with disabilities in disasters. Members of the public and expert stakeholders are invited to virtually participate in the meeting as observers.
