The Health-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) released its Annual Threat Report Health Sector 2026, titled the 2026 Global Health Sector Threat Landscape Report, in January 2026. The report examines top threats to organizations from a cyber threat intelligence perspective, with emphasis on risks unique to the global health sector. It incorporates insights from the Health-ISAC Ransomware Events Database, Indicator Sharing program, Physical Security efforts, and Targeted Alerts initiative. The findings reflect community-felt impacts of major threats observed during 2025. Data included in the report draw from ransomware event tracking, physical security assessments, and more than 1,200 targeted alerts distributed to the sector in 2025. The report also aggregates results from a November 2025 survey of executives and cybersecurity professionals that identified Artificial Intelligence-enabled attacks as the top concern for 2026.
