The HHS/ASPR Project ECHO Clinical Readiness Rounds share clinical challenges and successes in preparing for and responding to disasters from all threats. This program is designed to create peer-to-peer learning networks where clinicians who are highly experienced in treating patients in emergency situations share their experiences with clinicians across the U.S. and around the world who can benefit from their lessons learned. Topics are based on new and emergent information around emergency preparedness, as well as topics requested by participants.
Please join ASPR on Tuesday, April 8 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM for the next session entitled, “Prehospital Blood Transfusion and Mass Casualties.” Speakers will discuss the practicality of using prehospital blood transfusion and the impact of prehospital blood transfusion on health outcomes during mass casualty incidents. Regularly scheduled sessions are held every other Tuesday.
