Knowing how to control bleeding from a serious injury is important for everyone. During National STOP THE BLEED® Month, stakeholders are encouraged to find a course, spread the word, and learn how the American College of Surgeons’ (ACS) STOP THE BLEED® program is being implemented across the country. Officially launched by the White House in 2015, STOP THE BLEED® is a campaign developed by the Department of Defense to educate the public on lifesaving bleeding control techniques following everyday emergencies.
