NACCHO Launches Resource Site for Maternal and Child Health Emergency Preparedness

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) has launched a resource repository featuring maternal and child health emergency preparedness. Resources include toolkits, checklists, exercises, webinars, and guides. The materials were gathered from NACCHO, local health departments, and partner organizations. In addition to providing information about emergency management for all-hazards preparedness, these resources address topics such as infant and young child feeding in emergencies, infectious disease response, disability preparedness/inclusive planning, and other considerations impacting maternal and infant health and pediatric populations.
