National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC) Warp Speed Research, Clinical Trials During COVID-19

Launched in May 2020, Operation Warp Speed (OWS) was a United States government initiative to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics. In hospitals across the country, health care personnel were positioned to support the clinical trials of vaccines and therapeutics that played a pivotal role in the global effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
