National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM) Offers Technical Assistance Resources for State and Local Health Departments

The National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM) is funded by CDC and the International Organization for Migration to support health departments and community organizations working with refugee, immigrant, and migrant (RIM) communities that have been disproportionately affected by health inequities. Initially established in October 2020 as part of the nation’s COVID-19 response, NRC-RIM now focuses on public health preparedness and other needs of new arrival communities.

State or local health departments can contact NRC-RIM to learn more about how the organization and its network of partners can support their work with refugee, immigrant, and migrant communities.
