COVID and the recent “tripledemic” demonstrated the importance and value of telehealth. In preparation for the upcoming respiratory and pediatric surge season, the Regional Emerging Special Pathogens Treatment Center (RESPTC) in collaboration with the Region 1 Disaster Health Response System (RDHRS) recently hosted a webinar providing an update on all things telehealth. The webinar included lessons learned, present use of telehealth, and where telehealth needs to go to support disaster response. A discussion of telehealth vulnerabilities in disaster conditions where platforms can fail was also featured.
