About Andreea
Andreea Lazaroiu is the Volunteer Management Project Coordinator at the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH). In her current role, Andreea is responsible for the recruitment, retainment, deployment, training, and overall management of Chicago Medical Reserve Corps volunteers. Andreea previously worked as the COVID-19 Project Coordinator at the Macon County Health Department, where she led the COVID-19 contact tracing response, then transitioned to the investigation, surveillance, and outbreak management of other communicable diseases. Andreea completed her Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Outside of CDPH, Andreea enjoys going to the beach and reading a good book.
