About Doug
Douglas Buchan is the System Director for Emergency Management and Communications at Sinai Chicago. Currently, Douglas serves as the Chair of the Responder Health and Safety Committee and sits on the Information Sharing Committee for CHSCPR. Douglas is a Registered Nurse, Certified Emergency Nurse, and National Registry EMT with over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine and disaster preparedness. Douglas has been active in emergency medicine since 2006 and has been a member of the State of Illinois’ Medical Emergency Response Team since 2008 with instruction experience in hazardous materials response, tactical medicine, incident command, and pediatric disaster response.
