The University of Texas at Austin worked with healthcare cybersecurity experts in industry to develop a healthcare-focused cybersecurity professional education program that garnered strong accolades from experienced healthcare professionals who participated in the program in 2025. The second year of the program, designed to meet the critical workforce needs in healthcare cybersecurity, will begin on January 12, 2026. The program consists of six, one-month long online courses that are accessible to all healthcare professionals and provides new knowledge and skills that are immediately applicable in the workplace.
