About José
José Guillermo González is a Senior Emergency Management Coordinator with the Chicago Department of Public Health’s Division of Emergency Preparedness and Response. In his current role, José is the Communications Unit Leader (Logistics) for all radios deployed to the hospitals, and Resource Unit Leader (Planning) for all assets in cache for deployment to the hospitals. Prior to working in emergency preparedness, José worked as a Trainer within CDPH’s HIV/AIDS Training Unit (HATU). José holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
