About Rachel

Rachel Beham, PharmD, MSc Toxicology is a Projects Administrator/Pharmacist with the Chicago Department of Public Health in emergency preparedness. In her current role, Rachel serves as an MCM Coordinator and oversees the CHEMPACK Program as Clinical Director. Rachel’s prior experience includes working as an Emergency Department Pharmacist both in Denver and Chicago. Rachel received her Doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of Michigan and went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital in Memphis, and a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency at the Ohio State University in Columbus. Rachel also received a master’s degree in Toxicology from the University of Florida. Outside of emergency preparedness, Rachel enjoys exploring the city with her dog, Riley.
