About Sam
Sam Hoffman is a Senior Emergency Management Coordinator at the City of Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC). In his current role, Sam works on the Operations & Special Events team to assist in planning, incident response, provision of resources, and multi-agency coordination during emergencies and city-wide special events. Prior to his role at OEMC, Sam worked at Sinai Chicago as a Safety Coordinator where he oversaw trainings and exercises for the Department of Emergency Management, Communications, and Environmental Safety and maintained a working relationship with the Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Public Health in Disaster Management from Tulane University.
